Eurocbrick - Latest Installer Project: Hessel Street, London – LB&F
The corner site on Hessel Street, London was a challenge for all involved, with this project to build a new 5 storey mixed use building. Located in a dense urban area, there was very limited space on site and restrictions in place to minimise disruption to neighbouring residents and businesses.
The development comprises 1 commercial unit and 8 residential units. The external wall façade was recently completed by Eurobrick approved installer, LB&F who installed circa 460m² of the P-Clad system. P-Clad was developed by Eurobrick to provide a brick slip faced external sheathing on buildings. With a panel thickness of 10mm, the entire system depth starts from just 25mm and on tight sites, space savings are very important. The speed of installation was also a benefit to this development, as it was important to keep the construction schedule as short as possible.
LB&F has been installing Eurobrick’s systems since 2008 and has completed many projects. Specialist installers of external facades, Dan Lear, director says “Over the years, we’ve installed several different brick slip systems, but in my opinion, Eurobrick is the best, for quality, ease of installation and service”.
