Eurobrick specialise in brick and stone slip cladding systems and was the first to introduce a comprehensively designed system to the UK in 1990. Eurobrick’s brick slip faced cladding provides the real look, feel and durability of traditional masonry with the benefit of being extremely versatile and quick to install. The cladding has a broad range of applications, including new build, modular and refurbishment of commercial and domestic buildings. It can be installed both internally and externally to most construction types.
PRODUCTS:
X-Clad
A lightweight system for finishing new build structures up to 18m in height. The extruded, closed cell polystyrene backer panel is an excellent insulator and is available in different thicknesses making X-Clad ideal for retrofitting to existing buildings too. It will significantly increase the energy efficiency of a building and reduce heating bills. Project specific U-Value calculations are available upon request.
I-Clad
Developed for interior applications, I-Clad has a plasterboard backer panel. Suitable for both commercial and domestic interiors, the slim line profile of I-Clad minimises the loss of valuable floor space.
P-Clad
Designed with new build projects in mind where there is no requirement for insulation. P-Clad is rigid, making it the ideal sheathing for a building and it has been certified for installation on some buildings over 18m high. Contact Eurobrick for details of tested construction designs.
V-Clad
V-Clad is a brick faced external wall insulation (EWI) system suitable for new build and retrofit projects, and can be used internally as well as externally. V-Clad is an expanded polystyrene panel, with a ribbed profile for easy installation of the brick slips.
HOW THE SYSTEMS WORK
Eurobrick systems are quick and simple to install. Each system has a specially developed backer panel, which is supplied (pre-laminated) with a vacuum formed polystyrene skin bonded to it (with the exception of V-Clad, see above). The skin has moulded horizontal tracks between which the brick or stone slips are glued. To complete the installation, Eurobrick’s Europoint pointing mortar is piped into the joints and tooled to achieve a traditional masonry finish.

The cladding systems are supplied as a kit of parts, comprising product backer panel, panel fasteners, adhesive, straight brick slips and Europoint mortar. Corner brick slips, base trim, expansion rod filler and other accessories to help with application are as extras.
BRICK AND STONE RANGES
Eurobrick offer a wide collection of brick slip colours and finishes, along with a range of stone slips. The Britannia and Classic Ranges of brick slips are manufactured in standard UK sizes, with corner bricks available.
- Britannia Range: Kiln fired, extruded brick slips typically, 15mm thick.
- Classic Range: Kiln fired stock bricks specially cut to fit the system, typically 20-25mm thick.
- Stone: A range of reconstructed and natural stone slips are available in various finishes for use on whole projects or to provide architectural detail. Corner slips are available. Please note that stone is manufactured or cut to order and requires a minimum lead time of 8 weeks.

BRICK MATCHING SERVICE
Eurobrick also offers a brick matching and cutting service for customers who require a specific brick type for a project.
POINTING MORTAR
Eurobrick’s Europoint mortar is easy to use and ready to mix, requiring only water. Europoint has been specially formulated so it can be piped into the brick joints using a pointing bag or gun. The mortar is available in eight standard colours. For large projects, special colours can be produced to client requirements.

Last month we reported that supplies of Smooth Anthracite 700 were severely affected due to circumstances beyond the manufacturer’s control. We are now very pleased to advise that production of this best-selling brick slip has started again and new stock will be available from mid January 2022. Eurobrick - Marks and Spencer choose I-Clad for food halls
Marks and Spencer is currently undertaking a building programme of both new food halls and refitting some of its existing stores throughout the UK. Eurobrick are proud to be supplying our I-Clad system and brick slips to Marks & Spencer’s contractors and installers for installation as part of the interior shop fitout.
To date, a total of 21 stores, from London to Edinburgh, have been completed using around 1375 m² of I-Clad, our specially designed interior system. I-Clad can be fixed to timber or light gauge steel studs and has a plasterboard panel with a horizontal ribbed profile which aligns and supports the brick slips making the formation of brick courses quick and easy. I-Clad has an installed system depth starting from 28mm which minimises the loss of valuable floor space in retail environments. Using real brick slips, the look and feel of traditional brickwork is achieved but at a fraction of the depth of full bricks. At approximately 50Kg per m², the installed system also poses fewer issues in terms of additional loads, which would be associated with traditional brickwork.
In the majority of stores, Eurobrick supplied Red Blue Flamed brick slips, which is a light textured sanded red with a blue, grey multi-effect, creating a consistent design style across multiple M&S branches. The photos of Marks and Spencer, Hackney are an example of the finished installation. The brick slips create a warm backdrop to showcase the merchandise.
I-Clad has been installed by a number of contractors including Eurobrick’s approved installers; WSF Contracts, Façade Install and ML Brickwork (Southern).
The programme of works is set to continue throughout 2022 with another 19 stores scheduled for completion.
