Newton Waterproofing Systems’ RIBA approved, double-points CPD seminar on ‘A Designers Guide to Type C Internal Basement Waterproofing to BS 8102:2009’ will focus on the most reliable form of below-ground waterproofing, known as Type C or cavity drain waterproofing.
With over 25 years of experience in the waterproofing industry, Richard will provide an overview of Type C design requirements based on current legislation, British Standards and NHBC standards, including:
- An examination of the evolution of Type C internal cavity drain waterproofing
- An understanding of the importance of the requirement for maintainability within BS 8102:2009
- An understanding of the related sustainability issues when it comes to Type C waterproofing
- An appreciation of the importance of using specialist waterproofing designers and contractors
The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes and will end with a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to discuss the CPD material in greater detail with Richard.
