All of our windows are crafted to your bespoke design in our ISO 9001 approved factory. Produced from recycled steel and generally Part L compliant, windows by Clement are environmentally friendly and meet the latest performance requirements for insulation, weatherproofing and security.

Clement also manufactures a selection of conservation rooflights, available from stock in either a tile or a slate profile.

PRODUCTS

Steel Windows:

Clement steel windows are often specified as the preferred fenestration solution for buildings that are important, valuable or of high conservation value.  We work in partnership with architects, conservation officers, main contractors and other building professionals to help produce specifications that are visually stunning and offer high technical performance while respecting and enhancing important heritage and conservation objectives.

Arrangements for Listed Buildings or those in Conservation Areas can replicate existing steel fenestration, while improving thermal performance and security.  Specifications for new build projects make the most of steel´s strength to produce slender frames with elegant sight lines which are incomparable to other supposedly similar materials such as aluminium. Steel also enables us to produce highly secure window systems which feature multi point locking and where appropriate we can offer windows that achieve the BS 7950 security standard.

Steel Doors:

Clement manufacture a beautiful selection of internal steel doors available in various styles and colours. They include multi point locking or a traditional mortice lock which can be matched to the windows in the building or used as a unique stand alone feature.

Conservation Rooflights:

Clement Conservation Rooflights are modern replicas of Victorian originals and so versatile they can be used in any type of property.  They are particularly suitable for Listed Buildings or heritage products and are regularly recommended by Architects and Conservation Officers.

We offer eight standard sizes with either a tile or slate profile to match the specific roof type ensuring a flush finish but our rooflights can also be tailored to bespoke requirements.

Glass Doors:

Clement Internal Glass Doors allow light to flood into a workspace area. Available a part of our internal product range or screens and partitions, our doors are widely specified in both commercial and domestic projects.

Steel Screens:

Internal metal and glass screens and doors will draw light into a partitioned space, flooding dark offices and boardrooms with natural daylight, while the acoustic features of the glass will mean that private meetings and discussions can still take place.

Steel Partitions:

The current trend for the industrial aesthetic shows no sign of diminishing and an internal metal screen is the perfect architectural feature to create the feel of a room within a room, a space that is simultaneously private yet part of the wider area. The strong steel sections can be engineered to any design, while the slim sections that are only possible with steel mean that the maximum possible area of glass is provided, allowing maximum solar gain and creating the illusion of extra space.

Back to the Office with Clement Windows

September 2021

Making the return to office-based working more palatable, Clement Windows has recently manufactured and installed new steel windows at two stunning office refurbishment projects in Central London.

A great example of 1930s Art Deco architecture, The Douglas Building sits on Great Titchfield Street in the West End. Formerly known as The Media Village, Douglas House was acquired by serviced office providers The Office Group (TOG) from landlords The Langham Estate in 2019. TOG together with Note Design Studio transformed the building with a colourful concept that blends the distinctive 1930s features and gives a sense of fluidity, openness and light throughout.

As its former name suggests this area of London is a hub for local media and IT businesses operating out of the West End and the brief for the building was to create a flexible workspace where people can feel stimulated by their environment leading to greater productivity. Wellness was also a central focus and the building includes an oxygen room, a parents’ room and a roof terrace which are all integral to enabling and inspiring everyone who enters.

Well ventilated and an abundance of natural light have become buzzwords in the COVID era and the 300+ new steel windows from the Clement EB24 range which were chosen by office fit out and refurbishment contractors Parkeray mean that anyone returning to work at Douglas House will benefit from both. Polyester powder coated in Pure White and furnished with Warren handles in a satin chrome finish, the windows lend the building a contemporary look on the outside as well as supporting the 21st century ways of working inside.

Clement steel windows were also chosen for the refurbishment of 6 Middle Street, a double-fronted office building set within a busy part of the City of London near Smithfield Market. Surrounded by narrow cobbled streets it is situated on the boundary of the Smithfield Conservation Area.

Blenheim House Construction (BHC) selected windows from the Clement EB24 range because they best suited the original look of the building and allowed for the maximum amount of light to flow through the property. Natural light was an important aim of this high specification refurbishment too – central to the building is a mezzanine which creates a dramatic light-filed double height space.

The windows are polyester powder coated in matt RAL 9005 (Jet Black) to match the frames as a finishing touch.

Clement Windows Increasing Security with Steel

August 2021

Increasing Security with Steel

What does ‘home’ mean to you? In most cases, at the forefront of your mind will be a space that provides comfort for you and your family. A huge amount of reassurance comes from the feeling of safety, and luckily there are a number of precautions you can take to ensure the security of your home is optimised.

At Clement Windows, we are able to deliver high quality, high security, steel windows and doors to fit your bespoke designs, offering support at every stage of the process.

Securing your home

Windows and doors are probably the most important factors in securing your home but are all too often neglected in favour of other automatic security systems.

Although the front door is the most common entryway to your home, windows are generally the most fragile and therefore the easiest points of entry for unwelcome visitors.

It is important to make sure that all possible entry points to your home are up to scratch when it comes to security.

How can we help?

At Clement, we are experts in bespoke steel windows. This enables us to provide high quality, secure fenestration that fits your security needs.

With a wide selection of Metal Windows, Steel Doors and Screens, Rooflights and other Premium Accessories you can rest assured that Clement’s products will increase the security of your home.
Metal Windows

At Clement Windows, we have a selection of metal windows, equipped with multi-point locking to achieve the high standard of BS 7950, maximising the security of your home.

Whether you are replacing windows in a traditional property or looking to have them fitted into a new build project, our multi-point locks combined with double glazing and our incredibly strong, durable steel window frames makes for some very secure windows.

Because steel is an inherently strong metal, it is perfectly placed to frame windows and can resist attempted break-ins; this not only increases security but adds a stunning finish.

Each and every home is unique to its owners, which is why we offer a variety of options to suit your security needs and property aesthetic.
