Building Envelope Products:
Formawall®: A smooth-faced flat, secret-fix, insulated panel that provides a high-end architectural appearance. The panel can be laid vertically as well as horizontally.
Trimapanel®: The Trimpanel® family is a range of insulated, secret-fix, architectural wall panels in a choice of micro-rib or smooth-face finish to provide attractive flat external aesthetics. Quick and easy to install with fast build times, the panels are available in a range of sizes and colours.
Trisomet®: A robust insulated panel used for roof or wall cladding systems. As a one fix construction component that is fabricated offsite, it is quick and consistent to install, and the wide spaced trapezoidal steel external skin provides optimum performance for water drainage, strength and walkability.
Trisobuild®: An attractive, tailored roof and wall system. Trisobuild® offers exceptional design flexibility. With self-curved options and a choice of more than 20 external profile shapes, eg, sinusoidal and plank. Trisobuild® can also be tailored to meet your requirements for fire resistance and acoustic performance. Trisobuild systems comprise a pre-finished steel trapezoidal liner profile, a spacer system, an insulation layer and a Colorcoat® pre-finished steel external weathering profile. Offering excellent sustainability credentials, the systems are also lightweight and easy to handle and install – allowing fast and efficient build programmes.
Colorcoat®: The Colorcoat® brand provides the recognised mark of quality and metal envelope expertise exclusively from Tata Steel. Tata Steel has developed a range of technically leading Colorcoat® pre-finished steel products which have been comprehensively tested and manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra®: Designed to withstand even the most demanding and aggressive environments, Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® pre-finished steel provides super durability and corrosion resistance, guaranteed for up to 40 years.
Colorcoat Prisma®: The ultimate combination of durability and aesthetic appeal. By utilising cutting edge three layer manufacturing technology Colorcoat Prisma® is an optimised, robust, chrome free pre-finished steel product.

Structural Products:
Celsius®: A high strength hot finished hollow section that is suitable for all construction and mechanical applications, for internal and external applications to BS5950-1:2000, EN1993 and BS5400. Celsius performs in even the most arduous conditions and is the product to choose for all critical applications where failure is simply not an option.
ComFlor®: Manufactured in the UK and readily available, Tata Steel’s ComFlor® offers the most extensive, cost-effective and efficient range of composite floor deck profiles in Europe. Our range of seven unique profiles enable effective and efficient design, each intended specifically for a particular application area providing optimum composite floor deck performance.
RoofDek: Tata Steel offers the most comprehensive range of structural roof decking (from 32mm to 210mm deep), all under one UK manufacturer’s roof; all the steel profiles in specific gauges are FM approved. We also supply additional profiles to complement our UK manufactured range from Tata Steel in Europe.

Homes built for the future, with Tata Steel’s enhanced Confidex® Home Guarantee
Given the clear push on sustainability and in light of the Future Homes Standard, Tata Steel is pleased to introduce a ‘solar ready’ enhancement to the Confidex® Home Guarantee, helping developers, contractors and self-builders deliver homes built for the future.
With the countdown to Net Zero well underway, there is a big emphasis on how we can all improve our sustainability and lessen our carbon footprint. The Future Homes Standard forms a key part of this; a new set of standards that will complement the Building Regulations, developed to ensure new homes are future-proofed with low carbon heating and world-leading energy efficiency.
Solar panels will have an important part to play in the delivery of this greener future, with the UK’s solar sector expected to double by 2030. As such, Tata Steel, the global steel manufacturer, has taken the decision to enhance the 25-year Confidex® Home Guarantee for the residential sector, making it ‘solar ready’.
The Confidex® Home Guarantee is valid on standing seam residential roof and wall systems manufactured from Tata Steel’s Colorcoat Prisma® and Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® and available via its four UK supply chain partners: Tata Steel (Colorcoat Urban®), Catnic (SSR2), Euroclad (Vieo) and EQC (Seamlap/Seamlock).
Originally launched in 2019, the revamped Confidex® Home Guarantee offers the same renowned protection against paint peeling on the pre-finished steel product for a period of 25 years, regardless of where the property is located (coast or inland); in addition to now allowing homeowners to install Clip and Fix Solar Panels on their roofs. Solar panels can be installed at any point during the 25-year guarantee period, without prior consultation from Tata Steel.
Tata Steel’s new ‘solar ready’ Confidex® Home will help developers and contractors in their delivery of greener homes, with the roofs ready for future solar panel installations. What’s more, the Guarantee enables developers to offer added peace of mind to prospective home buyers, with an additional 15 years on top of the 10-year NHBC guarantee.
While, as a result of the Confidex® Home Guarantee being a direct agreement with Tata Steel, homeowners can benefit from the assurance that, in the unlikely event of a material fault, it can be promptly resolved and rectified, without the need to go via the supply chain or their home insurance. The Guarantee is also transferrable in the event of the property being sold and is written in accordance with consumer law.
Speaking about the revamped Guarantee, Dr Peter Barker, New Product Development Manager at Tata Steel, said: “In the run up to 2050, the UK is changing the way it builds the homes of the future. As part of the Future Homes Standard, homes built from 2025 will have to produce 75% to 85% less carbon emissions, compared to homes delivered under the current regulations, with the installation of solar panels becoming increasingly popular.
“As such, we took the decision to update our renowned Confidex® Home Guarantee in line with the changing face of the construction and housebuilding industries to reflect the sustainable agenda. Through the new ‘solar ready’ Confidex® Home, we’re proud to be a small part of this journey to Net Zero, as well as being the only pre-finished steel manufacturer to offer a standing seam roof and wall system guarantee agreement direct to the homeowner.”

Tata Steel launches new A1 fire rated façade system
Tata Steel has launched Urban Seam® Façade, a new A1 fire rated steel standing seam cladding system that delivers a modern aesthetic and importantly, exceeds the fire safety standards set by the updated building regulations.
As a development of the Colorcoat Urban® range of products, the façade system has been engineered with the needs of residential developers and contractors in mind, Urban Seam® Façade is suitable for use on buildings over 18m high with a residential purpose where all external cladding elements must have a reaction to fire rating of A2 or better to meet the requirements of Building Regulations.
The system consists of a high-quality standing seam mounted on a profiled steel deck. This is fixed to the building using a helping-hand rail and bracket mechanism attached to a standard steel frame system. The profiled steel deck replaces the continuous plywood or OSB backing board usually used in fully supported standing seam cladding systems. The new system has an improved reaction to fire rating of A1 and provides an ideal solution for use on residential apartment blocks, for both new build and retrofit projects.
Urban Seam® Façade is manufactured from high-quality Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel and features a Galvalloy® metallic coating for exceptional corrosion resistance and cut edge protection. It is available in 29 different colour options to meet the design requirements of any residential development and provide a real alternative to aluminium composite material (ACM) cladding. It is also significantly lighter and simpler to install when compared to brick slip façade systems.
Furthermore, the complete Urban Seam® Façade system has been independently tested to Centre for Window & Cladding Technology (CWCT) standards. The large-scale test assessed the system’s performance in relation to wind resistance, impact resistance and water tightness, including dynamic pressure tests.
Tata Steel has partnered with several leading contractors in the UK and Urban Seam® Façade is already in use on a range of projects across the country.
