Main Product Ranges include:
Exterior Clocks:
A wide range of traditional and modern exterior clocks. Clock mechanisms, clock control systems, electronic bell chiming and dial illumination.
Clock Towers:
A range of GRP clock towers which can be fitted with up to four exterior clock faces. Bronze bells and electronic bell chiming systems can be added to the specification.
Roof Turrets:
A range of GRP cupolas and roof turrets which can be supplied in a variety of styles and can be customised to order. These can be specified for ventilation purposes, or as a source for natural light.
Bezel and projecting clocks:
Bezel clocks for mounting onto walls or double sided drum clocks fitted with brackets for projecting from a wall can be specified to suite all applications
Pillar Clocks:
Free standing external clocks. Standard designs include the two-dial ‘Albert’ and four-dial ‘George’.
GRP Structures:
GRP structures can be manufactured to specific design. We have a large range of special moulds and a bespoke design facility.
Weathervanes:
We supply a range of weathervanes, made in copper with brass directionals.

Good Directions LTD had the honour and absolute pleasure of working alongside the Creative Director of Alton Towers, John Burton to manufacture and produce a 1900mm dial for the newly opened ‘World of David Walliams’ at Alton Towers theme park, bringing the story of ‘Gangsta Granny’ to life.
This enormous clock was designed by John Burton and closely following his design we produced a piece which has swiftly become one of our favourites. Using a variety of materials, cutting-edge technology, and techniques, we have produced a clock which will be seen by thousands, if not millions of people for years to come.
The large dial is all in gold, with vinyl being used to create the desired effect. This clock also features raised numerals, which were cut out of foam PVC sheet on our waterjet. We chose to use this PVC as it is lightweight, durable, and best of all waterproof, ensuring a long life and minimal to no decaying over time. The hands were cut out of stainless steel with appropriate counterweights added to the back end of the hands to ensure smooth running for such a large clock. They were then powder coated in black, again to ensure the longevity of said product and to make them highly visible on the clock face.
We have enjoyed creating many clock features over the years for all manner of exciting rides in theme parks across the country and always enjoy rising to the challenge of manufacturing the amazing and wonderful designs we are given to make into a reality.

Good Directions recently had the pleasure to manufacture a bespoke copper 3D weathervane as a retirement gift to one of our customers living overseas.
This copper weathervane was replicated from a pre-existing design of a weathervane and turned into a new and exciting product. We cut two camels out of copper sheet on our waterjet cutter, which were shaped and dressed with care and precision using a hammer and sandbags to individually form each half. These halves were then formed and structured around the support tubes on the inside of the camel to allow the weathervane to stand and rotate freely. Afterwards, they were soldered together to complete the 3D camel. The finishing touch of this weathervane came in the form of treating the copper to create a burnished patina, to give a beautiful weathered bronze effect allowing it to proudly stand out against the sky on the customers roof.
