Linear drain
Unidrain’s linear floor drain can be positioned either by the wall or as a free-standing solution. Whichever solution you choose, the floor drain is fitted with Unidrain’s patented flanges, to make it 100% waterproof.
ClassicLine - The Original Design by Unidrain
The linear floor drains are the invention that formed the basis for Unidrain. The drain is a revolutionary invention in itself, with its patented wall and floor flanges which allow it to be positioned against the wall while keeping it 100% waterproof. ClassicLine is the original design series from Unidrain and consists of a frame and a grating. The frame is mandatory, as it holds the grating in place. Six different designs in brushed stainless steel make it a solution for every taste.
Corner drain
The corner drain is the discreet solution for bathrooms and utility rooms where space often is limited. The floor drain is significant smaller than other similar products on the market. The corner position also creates even more space in the shower cabinet.
Square drains
Unidrain’s square floor drain allows you to achieve a uniform Unidrain expression in any room where a drain is needed but a linear drain is not an option. Unidrain always recommends a linear drain in the shower cubicle.
Bespoke
Unidrain bespoke can be made to order to any size. Customized drains are especially suited to institutions and large bathrooms, as they can be made to the exact measurements you require.

Introducing Unidrain’s new Sales & Export Coordinator Astrid Tauber-Møller
Astrid is fluent in five languages; which will be most beneficial in her new postion as Sales & Export Coordinator at our head office in Glostrup. Astrid Tauber-Møller joined Unidrain on 1 November, from her office here she will ensure we maintain a high level of customer service and technical advice.
Astrid will be in contact with our wide network of shops, distributors and architects, across Europe. Having previously worked, for a number of major Danish design companies including Georg Jensen, GUBI and most recently Louis Poulsen, she not only has extensive experience in how best to support a sales team but has a keen interest in design.
“I have many years of experience in professional sales support and customer service; as I’ve lived and worked abroad for over 10 years, mainly in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, I feel this has enriched my ability in these areas” says Astrid Tauber-Møller.
For much of her career, Astrid worked with iconic Danish design companies; her most recent role was as internal sales assistant at Louis Poulsen, where she provided backup and support for the sales team.
“I’ve always been interested in design and architecture, especially interior design,” says Astrid and continues:
“The role of Sales & Export Coordinator is an exciting opportunity to work with a key Danish brand that creates unique and beautiful design solutions. This really motivates me and I look forward to helping expand Unidrain’s export market, strengthening current and building new relationships with our foreign business partners.”
Astrid is 52 and has been married to a Swiss for 25 years, they have an 18-year-old son and live in Glostrup.

Unidrain’s unique solutions future-proof the Admiral an historic hotel in Copenhagen
The majority of the globetrotting visitors to the 4-star Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen have little or no knowledge of its extremely colourful history. Originally built in 1787 as a warehouse by Danish companies involved in the slave trade, it was in the fore of the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801 and served as a combined hospital and mortuary for the desperate people of Copenhagen when the British bombed the Danish capital in 1807.
With such a dramatic background the historic building on Toldbodgade was certainly deserving of its most recent renovation. This spanned several years and Unidrain have played an important role in this process.
“The renovation has taken several years. When a building as old as this one is to be renovated, there is no such thing as a standard solution. Every aspect has to be adapted to the building,” explains Lasse Lyck, our technical manager.
Planning to prevent water damage - Unidrain has assisted the hotel with the renovation of 366 bathrooms.
“Renovating bathrooms in a centuries-old building can have disastrous consequences if incorrect solutions are chosen or the drains are installed incorrectly. Unidrain advised the hotel on its options and limitations regarding the bathroom renovation from very early in the process,” explains our architectural adviser Dennis Bagge.
“Water damage is extremely difficult to correct in a building of this age, so it’s important to choose the right solution from the start. At Unidrain, we advise on both the technical aspects and the design, and we also give a physical demonstration of how our various products are to be installed, so they can see what is needed and why,” he explains.
Special design solution makes shower screens invisible
In most instances our products are manufactured to standard measurements, but when the need arises, we are able to customise the products to the customer’s special wishes. This was the case with the bathrooms at the Admiral Hotel.
“To achieve the best results, both the shower screens and drains differ by a few centimetres from the standard measurements. It might not sound like a lot, but it makes a big difference to the project and to the customer,” says Lasse Lyck.
It’s not just their measurements that our linear drains and shower screens for the historic hotel diverge from the standard. Working closely together with the hotel, we developed a completely new design solution.
“The hotel bathrooms are relatively small, so it was important to install shower screens which could barely be seen, which we managed to do,” says Lyck.
Unidrain’s shower screen is usually fastened to the floor and the tiled wall using a visible U-profile, but it is now mounted directly in the tiled floor and in the tiled wall, without any visible fittings.
“The shower screens and the rail render the screens pretty much invisible. This makes a small bathroom feel more spacious, it was the perfect solution,” explains Lyck.
