The opening of the new Park Regis Hotel has involved the regeneration of an existing 1960′s office building. The creation of the new four star 250 bed hotel, sky bar and conferencing facility on Broad Street in Birmingham City Centre is a development of the former Auchinleck House. Auchinleck House was home to Hoare Lea & Partners Consulting Engineers for almost three decades before they moved to Hagley Road in 2009.
The new hotel will be ready for receiving guests in February 2016.
To meet the demands for this project BLÜCHER worked on a solution offering custom linear drainage channels for the fire fighting lift. The custom channel is designed to prevent water from entering lift wells. Channel gratings are secured within the channel giving a slot appearance which is pleasing aesthetics as well as fit for purpose.
