Challenge
Louth County Council wanted to find a sustainable, low-cost supply of water for more than 30 new social and affordable homes, to lower the expected demand of around 150 litres of mains water per person, per day.
Solution
We supplied a Kingspan Envireau system for every home, to capture the rainwater which falls on the roofs and is in plentiful supply in the region. Each Envireau was fully integrated with the main plumbing. Rainwater from the roofs is collected, stored in an underground tank and is used to flush the WCs in each home, easing demand on the mains supply.
