A renowned Scottish meat producer has recently refurbished its modern 25,000sq ft factory, with the entire factory floor primed and prepared to meet the demands of a busy production line thanks to the installation of high quality products from Schluter-Systems.
Nearing completion, this Falkirk factory has been completely refitted throughout to ensure that high quality meat products can be produced within high quality surroundings. Therefore, it's no surprise that the market leader in tile solutions has been used to secure protection for flooring subjected to high mechanical stresses and continuous use.
Movement joints from the Schluter®-DILEX range were specified and installed throughout the factory premises, providing essential protection against cracks and pressure from pedestrian traffic and heavy loads. Installed by experienced tiler, Nicky from Stenhouse Tiling, the maintenance free movement profiles for tile, natural stone and surface coatings proved to be a cut above the rest.

To this is the first time I have installed Schluter-Systems on any other projects, I was really impressed with the ease of installation and the end result. The movement joints were perfect to fit into the expansion gaps and they match up with the interior as a whole thanks to the great range of colours and materials available.
