Royal Derby Hospitals Get The Diamond Standard.Another NHS Trust's The Diamond Entrance matting system. The newest hospital in the East Midlands has had its main entrance fitted with the MD3000 Diamond modular entrance matting system from Entrancematsdirect LTD a member of the Matsdirect UK Group. Having seen the matting system in operation at the St Helens NHS hospital it was decided that over 40 square meters of Diamond matting would be ideal for the main entrance to the Derby hospital. The Diamond system is designed to offer a unique cleaning action for multi-directional traffic allowing wheeled traffic to run easily over the matting minimising vibration whilst removing dirt and moisture in a busy hospital entrance. The new hospital will cater for approximately 625,000 patients per year and it is expected the matting will be effective for 5-7 years offering an excellent investment for the trust.
