HEWI nominated for the Designpreis Deutschland 2012 ¨Outstanding design quality
HEWI has been nominated for the "Designpreis Deutschland 2012", not only for the door lever fitting 211 but also for its washbasins. Only products that have already received a design price and have therefore proven their high level of design quality are chosen for this prize. With the nominations, HEWI has once again proven its design competence.
The washbasins had already been awarded the iF product design award 2011. The award acknowledges outstanding design performance “ both in respect to style and function, choice of materials and degree of innovation.
The door lever fitting 211 and the washbasins also received the universal design award 2011. The universal design award is given to outstanding products, concepts, designs and services, which are forward-looking.
