Graphenstone have now concluded the certification of our embedded carbon footprint. It's positive news! Our level is about one-fifth of those few paints companies who have also conducted the same research. At Graphenstone, we seek certification for our claims and this recent research into our embedded carbon number is certified by Solingesa, Spain.
Our entire Carbon footprint (complete raw material extraction to end of manufacture) presents the value 0.5kg / litre. However, our numbers do not take into account the CO2 sequestration benefits of all our lime based paints, which would enhance our numbers significantly.
