To keep you updated, there have been approximately 50 staff across Glasdon working from home in order to respond to customer enquiries, support our IT systems and pay suppliers etc.
You will no doubt have heard/read about "exit strategies" in the media and we have accordingly been giving our own careful considerations for a planned and safe return to work. As always, the health and safety of our staff remains our top priority and we've been working tirelessly since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak to provide a safe working environment for all our employees, as we are sure you have too.
Our plan has always been to recommence production as soon as it is evident that a proportion of our customers are ready and willing to accept deliveries. Not all countries are at the same stage as the UK in dealing with the outbreak. As an international company, it is likely that our export markets will begin to recover sooner than the UK will.
It is therefore our intention to open with a phased return to work programme from Monday 11th May. We will be accepting deliveries from this date.
A significant factor in the successful fulfilment of our customer orders relies upon our suppliers ability to produce and deliver the orders we have placed.
