Still Open For Business - Notice to our customers and suppliers April 2020
Given the rather extraordinary times in which we live, we wanted to give you an update from Aperam as regards to the current state of play.
Aperam is a global player in stainless steel with six production facilities producing over 2.5million tonnes of stainless steel in Europe and Brazil. With a long-standing UK operation near Sheffield the company offers a range of roofing and cladding solutions, under the brand name UGINOX®.
With our global operations it is very much business as usual in order to keep up with demand from both new and existing customers. All our factories are operating as normal and here in the UK we have heeded the government’s guidance on social distancing with employees either spread out as widely as possible across our offices or where possible working from a home base to minimize the risk of losing key business functions.
At the moment most construction sites seem to be operating normally and order intake is close to budget. We believe we have robust supply lines covering the main materials, products and services; these should allow us to offer a normal service for the foreseeable future.
We’re conscious that things are changing very quickly but this is as at today’s date,27th April 2020.
We hope all our customers remain safe during these unprecedented times and we are still here and operational in order to meet all your needs.
