Advantages of using Marley’s Edgemere concrete roof tiles:
With its leading edge of only 18mm, the Edgemere has been precision-engineered to be 40% thinner than standard concrete interlocking tiles. Its large format coupled with a broken-bond laying technique make it ideal for quick and easy installation, saving you time and money, and it is versatile enough to be used on pitches as low as 17.5°. The Edgemere slate has been designed to integrate seamlessly with Marley’s dry fix and ventilation systems into a full holistic roof system, ensuring complete protection from the elements and full compliance with BS 5534. The product is BES 6001 accredited and can achieve extra credits under BREEAM and HQM. As a roof covering, these tiles have a very low carbon footprint and environmental impact and can score an A+ rating in the BRE Green Guide.
The Edgemere range includes the Duo Edgemere with a mock bond down the centre of each tile to resemble small format slates, and the Riven Edgemere, which has a randomly textured surface that provides an even closer match to natural slate. Available in 4 colours reminiscent of the distinctive hues of traditional slate, Marley’s Edgemere slates will lend a sleek, beautiful aesthetic to any building project.
