This extraordinary house featured an eight metre concave, curved, automated, slide round the corner Rundum Meir garage door made from solid oak.
Ceiling fixed tracks followed the sweep of the curve, turning more than 100 degrees into the garage.
Downley House won the Most Innovative Project of the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovating Awards 2012.
