1500mm Bespoke bezel clock for new Trent Bridge Cricket Ground
Maber Associates were engaged by the Trent Bridge Cricket Club to extend their Radcliffe Road stand vertically with new broadcasting facilities and a new restaurant. At the top of the stand they wanted to feature a large bezel clock and approached us to help design and manufacture the feature.
Based on our standard bullnose bezel clock they asked for a modern style dial with cricket bats featured at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. The dial was manufactured in opal acrylic so that it could be illuminated with LED lighting and the numerals and cricket bats were laser cut in black acrylic with simple black baton hands to complete the clock.
To ensure the clock remained accurate at all times it was fitted with our Total Control System. This has a battery back up to keep the clock going through any power failures and will automatically change at the summer and winter time changes.
