NEW WATER BASED BLAST PRIMER.
The newly released Pro-Cryl 7000 by Sherwin-Williams is a water-based pre-fabrication blast primer, which provides temporary protection for steel surfaces prepared by abrasive blast cleaning.
Pro-Cryl’s durability far exceeds any competitive water based product; giving long term weather resistance leading to an extended fabrication window. Compared to its closest competitive product, Pro-Cryl 7000 offers a 40% reduction in the amount of corrosion seen on a panel when corrosion tested over a period of seven days*
Sherwin-Williams aims to develop products which provide the attributes which fabricators need, with this in mind Pro-Cryl is a fast drying product which is touch dry after only 15 minutes, has low VOC and is easy to apply. Designed for use in shop applications it is fully weldable and the product of choice when environmental regulations are of prime importance to the user.
