Construction Specialties has helped convert the players tunnel into a work of art at Bochum Stadium in Germany. C/S Acrovyn by Design with embedded images of an old mineshaft have been installed in the players tunnel to dramatically reflect the history of the club and its surroundings.
"The gallery in the players’ tunnel will give the players a perfect impression of what it is like to be down a real mine," explains Dr Siegfried Müller, deputy director of the German Mining Museum. "It is vital for miners to stick together and have a common spirit. We hope that these, and other virtues, will have a positive effect on the players of VfL Bochum."
