Pumpex, founded in 1968, is a renowned brand in the dewatering market, known for its high quality submersible pumps. There is a remarkable installed Pumpex base in over 70 countries.
Pumpex has been a part of Sulzer since 2011. Sulzer has formed a new business segment called Mining and Construction in 2016. This business segment will include all Sulzer dewatering activities worldwide. All product brand names currently used in this area will be terminated during 2016 in order to create one strong Sulzer brand for all dewatering products.
As a result, the Pumpex brand name will be phased out during 2016. The high quality Pumpex products will be available under the Sulzer brand. Replacement pumps, spare parts, and service for Pumpex pumps will be available through the Sulzer sales organization.
