Hauraton extended their CIVILS range RECYFIX® NC
Hauraton introduced their RECYFIX® NC surface water drainage channels into the UK in 2013 and since then the channels have been successfully installed in many civil engineering projects such as industrial/ warehousing service yards, waste recycling plants as well as fuelling stations. The NC channel system has been so successful the range of components offered has now been extended with larger sizes, new gratings and additional accessories.
The RECYFIX® NC 100 and 200 nominal sized channels have now been joined by 150, 300 and 400 sizes. All the channels, except the NC 400, are now available for loading categories of Class D400 or E600. The NC 400 is offered to Class D400 only. The extended range has been
welcomed by specifiers, merchants and contractors alike as the units are easy to handle and resist site damage before installation.
The channel unit is made of tough, virtually unbreakable recycled polypropylene (PP) formulated to be very resistant to daily temperature fluctuations from frost conditions to strong sunlight, including the Ultra Violet (UV) spectrum. PP is naturally resistant to de-icing salt.
Complying with the requirements of EN 1433, the PP is given its UV resistance by adding just sufficient carbon black as a stabiliser so that the structural strength of the material is unaffected and a consistent appearance is maintained.

will be welcomed by Civil Engineers “ All RECYFIX® NC channels are delivered to site with their 10mm or 18mm slotted ductile iron gratings secured with eight high tensile bolts per metre of channel. With 25 variants’ offered, the largest NC 400 channel weighs 57.2.9kg per one metre unit, with the NC 100 and 200 units weighing less than 25 kg.
The system now includes new half metre long channels, trash boxes, blank end caps and end caps with a DN 100 connection point, step fall adaptors and new sealing materials. As with all Hauraton surface water drainage channels, the performance of the new range complies with European Standards (hENs) and carries the CE mark”.
